Per U.S. federal and state laws, EPICC Technologies LLC has this Privacy Policy. We suggest you, the user, read this policy and if you have questions, reach out and inquire as needed. When possible and practicable we follow state, federal, and international law.
EPICC’s Application
EPICC Technologies has promoted, published, and marketed the EPICC application. EPICC stands for Every Practical Interventions for Cognition and Communication. The application and website share the same policy, in order to promote consistency within the EPICC product lines and minimize the potential for consumer confusion. EPICC’s website and application shall be referenced herein as EPICC.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
When you browse the EPICC website, information on you and your activities may be collected, including ‘heat map’ tracking, account information, interests in the EPICC website, and other information relating to your activities.
When you utilize the EPICC application, your financial data will be collected by the application store that offers the EPICC application, such as the Apple Store or the Android marketplace. In such instances, you are strongly advised and encouraged to check the marketplace’s privacy policy, as well as terms and conditions, as EPICC is not responsible for how such marketplaces may utilize your information.
EPICC may collect your email, name, age, state of residence, educational level, educational setting, and local environment. EPICC may also collect information related to the device(s) used to access our website and application, user tasks completed within the application, modules accessed and completed, user performance(s) on modules and activities, and monitor or retain awareness of user performance on modules and activities. This information will be used solely for better developing our website and application to provide better services to consumers, such as yourself.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION
When applicable your e-mail that you provide to us may be utilized for our marketing purposes.
We will provide your e-mail to entities that are related to our business, contact you to make you aware of specials, deals, and other opportunities, and may sell such e-mail to business partners.
Additional information may be collected through tracking beacons, cookies, and retargeting applications, which will follow you after you leave our Website and provide information to our marketing partners.
Such information may be transmitted and assist our marketing partners and us in enhancing the advertisements you see.

When you provide us with personal information for a specific purpose you consent to our collecting such information and our using it for that purpose as well as other, future and unidentified purposes.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
We will disclose your information if law enforcement demands it or if we reasonably believe you are engaged in criminal activity or the life, health, and safety of a person is in danger.
TRACKERS
The website and application, as stated above, may utilize a variety of trackers, retargeting apps, beacons, and permit third parties to plant cookies or other third party provided materials. Such third-party materials may have built in trackers, broadcasting materials, scraping programs, or other programs that are not covered by this Policy. The data shared via such third parties shall be limited solely to what is required for the operation of such materials. The purpose of the materials is to assess the website and application, receive feedback, and make adjustments and alterations to provide a better experience for consumers.
HIPAA PROTECTED INFORMATION
EPICC acknowledges that while it aims to provide general assistance to those with language disorders and/or cognitive deficits, it is no more than a general education provider. Consistent with the foregoing, EPICC is NOT a medical provider, or an entity prepared to handle, receive, or store information that is covered under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). To that end, should you place any information into the website or application that is covered under HIPAA, EPICC will delete it in a timely and reasonable manner. Should you provide any HIPAA relevant information to EPICC via mail, email, or in a phone conversation, EPICC will remove it as soon as reasonably possible.
THIRD-PARTY ENTITIES
Should you leave our website or application, or you are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. As such we will not be liable for any data or personal information that may be exposed on third-party platforms. When you click on links on our website and/or application, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and strongly encourage you to read their privacy statements.
SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Our Application does not receive or transmit your financial or personal information.
CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is used, stored, and shared. If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights. Please be aware that should you make a reasonable request for information we hold relating to you, your Personal Data, or your Personally Identifiable Information (as defined in the CCPA), we will request proof of identity from you to prevent unlawful access by third parties to your protected information. Should you issue a request for us to delete or limit our activities with your information we may suspend or delete your account out of necessity in order to abide by your request. Any request will be acknowledged within 10 business days and fulfilled within 60 days. In the event that you are in a state with the same or similar laws to the CCPA, we will do our best to honor that state’s requirements. Please send us a note identifying what state you are a resident of, the applicable statute or regulation, and your request under such statute or regulation.
E.U. RESIDENTS AND THE GDPR
Residents of the European Union may contact us and request a copy of their information. You may request deletion of such information. We do not collect information that is religious, political, or otherwise requires an E.U. point of contact or a Data Point of Contact.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our Application is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell services to you.
